This privacy policy describes how 3/4 Morgan Group Ltd. (the “Group”) will treat the personal information received about you when you visit our web site.
Information We Collect
When you register for membership, and at other times, we will collect personally identifiable information from you that may include your name, address, e-mail address, credit-card information, and other information such as your age, profession and facts about your automobile(s). We do not, however, knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of eighteen or non-members.
The Group collects membership contact information in order to operate the Group, create a Membership Directory and to inform members of Group activities. Our intention is to see that the information is used in a way that respects the privacy of our members. We do not rent our member list or member contact information and we do not share member information outside of the Group.
Member contact information is used to encourage participation in Group events and to communicate between members. If a member prefers not to be contacted by e-mail or by telephone for Group business, they can remove those entries from their membership profile data and from the Group’s on-line directory by changing their contact information and related settings by visiting the Membership Directory within the home page of this site or by making a request to the Group by visiting the “Contact Us” within the home page of this site.
Members are asked to use personally identifiable information which others in the Group have made available for Group business only and not for commercial, political or charitable purposes.
The Group annually publishes a Membership Directory as a service to members. Members may not make or solicit its availability outside of the Group. The Membership Directory is propriety property of the Group and may not be sold, rented or transferred for value or consideration.
Advertising
For both members and non-members, advertising in the Group’s newsletter, The Morganeer, does not carry with it the right to mail, e-mail or telephone Group members with whom the advertiser does not already have an established business relationship. A member who refuses to abide by this policy may be asked to resign from the Group and an advertiser may be denied future space in The Morganeer.
Electronic Communication
The Group’s e-mail distribution is for Group business only and to distribute news from other related entities. It may only be used with the approval of a Group officer.
Web Site Usage Information
We do not automatically collect IP addresses and web site usage information from you when you visit our web site.
Your Ability to Choose
We offer you the opportunity to choose whether to receive certain communications electronically when you give us your personally identifiable information and as set out above. Please note that when you register more than one email address with us, we use your primary email address for our electronic communications with you.
Review and Correction
You may review and update the personally identifiable information that you have provided to us by first signing on to your membership via “Member Login” on the home page of this site and then visiting “Profile” within the home page of this site. You may also have us update your personally identifiable information by visiting “Contact Us” on the home page of this site and correspond such updates. While we strive to process your correspondence requests as quickly as possible, please allow for reasonable time for us to process your updates.
Security
The personally identifiable information we collect about you is stored in limited-access servers. We maintain safeguards to protect the security of these servers through our web site provider Gembrook Systems, LLC. If you choose to make a purchase or pay your membership dues through our web site, during your transaction the personal and credit card information you transmit over the internet will be encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to permit us to use it for the purposes that we have communicated to you and comply with applicable law or regulations.
Other Countries
Your information is stored and processed in the United States however electronic access to it can occur in other countries.
Policy Modifications
The Group reserves the right to change this policy in the future. When we make any material change to this Privacy Policy, we will inform you by posting a notice on the home page of this site that the policy has been updated and by changing the date on this page noting when the policy was last updated
