The Gayle Perry Award
In 2012 an anonymous member of the club (speaking through Dave and Margaret Jacobsen) approached the Board of Directors of the club and offered to generously fund The Perry Award. The funding came in the form of a Ralph Lauren pewter Morgan. The BOD together with the donor forged the Gayle Perry Award Charter. Gayle and Bob Perry stand as a model couple who have been members of the club over a lifetime and have always been there for the club; contributing of their time and always bringing kindness and goodwill to those that they have touched. As a couple they worked together and consistently improved the condition of the club, instilling a sense of service to others.
It was agreed upon by the BOD and the donor that the award would be to a couple, for consistent service to the club over a period of years while noting achievements of recent past year.
